Type Soul hands you a clan the moment you create a character and choose a race, and 96% of those rolls come back Common — cosmetic, no stat boost, no passive. That one silent dice throw is why codes in this game matter more than they do in almost any other Roblox anime title.
Legendary clans land at a 3% drop rate and Mythical clans at 1%, and only those two tiers carry the stat boosts and passives that separate a viable build from a skin. Everything below them is decoration.
So when a code drops ten Locked Clan Rerolls into your inventory, it is handing you roughly a one-in-three shot at a build-defining clan for the cost of typing a string into a text box. That is the whole argument for keeping an active code list open while you play.

What Each Active Code Actually Gives You
Reroll bundles are not interchangeable, and knowing which code carries the clan rerolls versus the element rerolls decides what you redeem first. Here is how the current list breaks down by what each code moves.

All of these land in your inventory rather than applying instantly, so there is no penalty for redeeming everything now and spending it once you have settled on a race. Keep in mind that a reroll only fires when you equip it to your hotbar and use it.
How To Redeem Type Soul Codes
Redemption sits behind a progression gate that catches a lot of new players, and a code that appears broken is usually a code the game will not read yet. Here is the full sequence:
- Launch Type Soul from the official Roblox page and load into a server.
- Click the gift box icon in the top-left corner of the screen.
- Paste one code into the text box exactly as written, capitalization included.
- Press Enter and wait for the reward confirmation before entering the next one.
- Open your inventory to confirm the items landed, then equip a reroll to your hotbar to use it.
Redeem Type Soul codes by clicking the gift box icon in the top-left of the screen, pasting one code exactly as written, and pressing Enter. You must reach Semi-Rank 2 first.
Type Soul will not accept any code until your character reaches Semi-Rank 2, and the box gives no error message explaining why. If a current code fails on a fresh account, check your rank before assuming the code is dead.
Why The Reroll Economy Makes These Codes Consequential
Most Roblox code lists pay out cosmetics, a pet, or a small currency drip that speeds up something you would earn anyway. Type Soul pays out attempts at a random roll table that gates real combat power, which puts its codes closer to pity currency than to a login bonus.
The clan table is the clearest illustration of how steep those odds are:

Ten Locked Clan Rerolls therefore work out to roughly a 34% chance of landing Legendary or better, since 96 of every 100 individual rolls return nothing useful. That is the math that makes a hundred-reroll code worth more than a month of casual grinding.

Clan Reset Rewards And What A Reroll Is Worth
A clan reroll resets your clan and respins inside your own race's pool, so a Soul Reaper cannot roll into a Quincy clan and the reverse holds too. That means the value of a reroll depends entirely on how deep your race's Legendary and Mythical tiers go.
Here is what each race is rolling toward:
- Soul Reaper. Sozosei and Shihouin sit at Mythical, with Urahara, Yamamoto, and Zaraki at Legendary. Soul Reaper clans raise Health, Posture, Reiatsu, Mode duration, and Vizard duration.
- Arrancar. Ikomikidomoe is the Mythical pull, with Starrk and Odelschwanck at Legendary. Arrancar clans lean on Health, Posture, Reiatsu, and Mode duration, with combat-focused passives at the higher rarities.
- Quincy. Kurosaki and Ishida are Mythical, with Du, Valkyrie, and B at Legendary. Quincy clans raise Health, Posture, Reiatsu, and Letzt Stil duration, with passives built around survivability and resource recovery.
- Fullbringer. Ubuginu is Mythical, with Orihime and Ginjo at Legendary. The Fullbringer pool is smaller, which tightens your odds of hitting the specific clan you want once you clear the Common tier.
Because rerolls respin within your race, a race change resets the problem entirely and you begin hunting a new pool from scratch. Be aware that this is exactly why experienced players stockpile clan rerolls before committing to a race swap.
A clan reroll respins your clan within your own race's pool only. Soul Reapers roll Soul Reaper clans and Quincy roll Quincy clans, so a race change restarts your clan hunt from zero.
Locked Rerolls And Why They Cannot Be Traded
Nearly every reward a code pays out carries the Locked prefix, and that prefix has a specific meaning here. Locked items function identically to their normal versions but cannot be traded or given away.
Accordingly, a hundred Locked Element Rerolls are worth exactly what you personally extract from them, with no resale value in the trading economy. Players who redeem a big code haul expecting to flip the surplus end up sitting on an inventory only they can spend.

The upside is that Locked rerolls are immune to the usual trade-scam surface and they never clutter your tradeable stock. For a first character, that distinction costs you close to nothing.
The Codes Other Trackers Still Call Working
Several larger code sites still list about ten older strings as active that failed on our September check, most of them dating to the World Cup and Palace update cycles. Dead codes cost a site nothing to leave up and a longer list ranks better, so pruning rarely happens.

If one of these still lands on your account, it is more likely a caching quirk than a live code, and trying costs you nothing. Note that Type Soul does not distinguish between an expired code and a mistyped one, which is why case-sensitivity matters so much here.

The privateservercompensation bundle is worth studying even though it is dead, because it shows the shape of a Type Soul compensation code: a large stack of Locked rerolls issued after something breaks. Historically, those are the most generous codes the game releases.

Type Soul codes surface in the official Discord before they reach any tracker, specifically in the update-log and announcements channels. They cluster around major reworks, balance passes, and seasonal events rather than arriving on a schedule.
The Type Soul Info V2 Trello board is the second place to look, and it is usually the faster source for what a patch actually changed. What's more, compensation codes follow outages and bank bugs closely enough that a rough server day is a reasonable prompt to go check.

How To Spend A Fresh Code Haul
Redeeming is the easy half, and spending badly is how players burn a hundred rerolls without improving anything. Work through the stack in this order:

- Confirm your race first, since clan and element pools are race-locked and a later swap wastes everything you spent.
- Spend clan rerolls in blocks of ten and check the rarity each time rather than burning the whole stack blind.
- Hold element rerolls until you know which Shikai, Partial Resurrection, or Schrift element suits your playstyle.
- Use Skill Box Choosers on the skill you actually want instead of gambling on a random box.
- Save Red Elixirs for a settled build — each grants +5 Skill Points and is usable twice unless reset with a Blue Elixir.
- Cash a World Ticket only when you can leave the game running, since it grants 24 hours of AFK World access.
