After three years with Silicon Knights, Rob DePetris has left the company. DePetris worked as the company’s vice president of finance.
When asked by St. Catherines Standard, DePetris did not give a reason for his departure.
“I’m just looking for something different,†DePetris said.
Silicon Knights released a statement regarding DePetris’s leaving the company, commending him on the work that he did.
“He helped collaborate with the Ontario government on various gaming initiatives in order to drive the company forward and the industry over recent years. Silicon Knights wishes Rob the best of luck in his future endeavors,†a released statement reads.
DePetris has been replaced by Mike Mays. No information is currently known about Mays publicly, but Silicon Knights said that Mays will “[work] closely with Denis Dyack (president) to drive the company into 2009 and beyond. Mike will help usher in a New Year of continual growth for Silicon Knights, the games industry in Ontario and the Niagara Region.â€
