During the company’s conference call with investors and analysts, THQ said that they expect to ship Kaos Studios’ Homefront in “fiscal 2011″. THQ’s fiscal year 2011 starts on April 2010 and ends March 31st, 2011, so that is the range of different release dates that the game could possibly have.
If you’re unaware of what the game is, Homefront is an upcoming Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 shooter that puts you in the boots of an American Resistance fighter, attempting to defeat an occupying North Korean military.
Though I wasn’t too fond of the last effort from Kaos Studios, Frontlines: Fuel of War, I still could recognize some untapped potential from the game. At the very least, Homefront is an extremely interesting premise, so I’m excited to see how it’s capitalized on.
