Tonight, I have received two seperate messages from two seperate friends over Xbox Live who are unfortunately in danger of having their accounts hacked. If you see the following message, just delete it and do not, I REPEAT, DO NOT go to the URL in the message. The message reads:
“For Free Microsoft Points Go To
************** (scam url)
I Just Got 3200 Microsoft Points”
When I visited the site, I was taken to the following page, which looks VERY similar to the real xbox.com:
Once again, if you, or a friend receive this message, I strongly advise you to simply delete it. NEVER enter your username and password unless the address reads “http://www.xbox.com” and not anywhere else.

Thats too bad, that people fall for such scams, people should never reveal their user/password information, if they really need to get points for they need to fill surveys, but the sure way is to just buy them…
