With the popularity of Xbox Live’s 1 vs. 100 as high as it is, I had been wondering how things would have played out if Microsoft decided to charge for it.
Well, it may happen after all. Joystiq recently reported that one of their readers spotted a mysterious “Buy Season Pass” option in the 1 vs. 100 Extended Play options. Apparently he was able to get it to download, and while downloading the name changed to “1 vs. 100 Show GB”. But after the download finished, all he could get were error messages from the new content.
Interesting — could Microsoft have decided that they want some money for this thing? Let your minds run wild with theories.
