In an interview with Stephen Totilo of MTV News, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime said that Nintendo was “looking hard” for a storage solution.

Fils-Aime: We have said publicly that we’re looking hard at the storage situation, that we’re working on a range of solutions. We have nothing to announce now. But certainly it’s an issue we are aware of and we’re working to find a solution and we will.

The lack of a storage solution announcement was just one of many disappointing aspects of Nintendo’s 2008 E3, but from what Fils-Aime said, appears to be getting a solution shortly.
