Bayonetta may not be hitting retail shelves in western markets until January, but for those who aren’t opposed to importing, you can actually get your hands on the game much sooner – “in a couple of days” sooner, so long as you own a Playstation 3.
Siliconera has found that that Japanese PS3 version of Bayonetta is region free, and that the entire game – voices, menus, and in-game text – is in English. The only thing that isn’t, is the game’s manual, but how many people actually read those anyway?
As of this writing, Play-Asia is still allowing purchases (the game releases tomorrow), so if you’re willing to pay a premium price to import it ($80 plus shipping), head on over and snag yourself a copy before you miss your chance and are stuck waiting until Jan. like the rest of us.
