There is now a date for the Killzone 2 GameStop demo–January 5th.

Earlier this week we reported that GameStop would in fact have the demo available for pre-orders to pick up, but it was unclear when they would become available.

On the company’s official website, it clearly states when the demo will become available for in-store pre-orders to pick up. (Online pre-orders will have to wait almost a month longer for their code to arrive)

“A rave card granting access to the Killzone 2 Demo will be available in stores while supplies last beginning the week of January 5. Check with your local store for more information.”

It is not entirely confirmed that the “rave card” will grant instant access on January 5th. EndSights will keep you posted when we find out one way or another.

UPDATE: The pre-order card is available on the 5th of January, while the demo will be available to download on the PlayStation Network February 5th.
