Could Mirror’s Edge be getting the star treatment?

Earlier today, Electronic Arts announced that they signed a deal with United Talent Agency (UTA) to “develop a comprehensive strategy for moving its intellectual property into the realm of large-budget motion pictures and television series.”

UTA mentions EA properties such as Need for Speed and Army of Two, but more interestingly–the yet to be released Mirror’s Edge.

No confirmation of a movie or television show based off of Mirror’s Edge has been announced, but many gamers (including most of the staff here) have been eagerly anticipating Mirror’s Edge since it was announced earlier this year.

If the game sells as well as it looks, don’t be surprised if you see MIrror’s Edge come to a theater near you.
